About tenpencemore

I spent ten years working as a form tutor and an English teacher including a stint as head of department. On leaving the classroom in 2007, I joined a government-funded pilot service of The Key as Research Team Leader. Later I became the organisation’s Director of Business Development when the government funding was pulled in 2009.  Over the next six years, The Key became the country’s leading national support and information service for school leaders and school governors and is today a Fast Track 100 company. I later worked for a number of social enterprises, including Challenge Partners as Head of Membership and Business Development and Lyfta as Director of Engagement. I am a school governor at a north London primary school and a Trustee on a south London multi-academy trust board.

I am currently working towards my Phd in education, and working freelance,  supporting education organisations wherever they are on their journey from start up to grown up. You can find out more about this at bit.ly/PennyRabiger
